Sint-Jacobskerk (Saint James’s Church)
Of the original Romanesque church which dates from the beginning of the 13th century, only the tower remains. This tower is also one of the seven wonders of Leuven: a bell can be seen, hanging outside the tower! It must also be mentioned that the transept was constructed between 1457 and 1488 by the master builder of the Leuven town hall, Matheus de Layens.
