Aula Pieter De Somer (Pieter De Somer Auditorium)
This auditorium, designed by architect Paul van Aerschot, was opened in 1989 and is the largest auditorium of the university.
The statue of Pieter De Somer, who became the first rector of the autonomous Dutch-speaking University of Leuven in 1968, and which stands in front of the building was created by Vic Gentils.
