Pact in Rietensplein
Together with local residents, we have softened and greened the streets and gardens in Korte Dolagestraat, Dongelsplein, and Rietensplein. This allows us to upgrade the neighborhood and better protect it against the effects of climate change.
What have we done?
The residential neighbourhood has been transformed in a more climate robust environment with a lot more space for green areas and trees:
- 59 extra trees
- Water infiltration in the green areas
- Depaving extensively mowed green areas
- Façade greenery
Het project PACT (LIFE20 CCA/BE/001710) kreeg subsidies van het LIFE-programma van de Europese Unie.
